Charades app good for
Its dead easy to lose hours playing this game with friends, I definitely recommend it.
This is great. Its really fun to pull this out at a party (you will need to play it with other people, its not single player). Lovely hand-drawn illustrations for the stage make it feel quite unlike any other application Ive bought.
I dont think theres anything Id change. Well worth a purchase.
At a loose end when we got back from a night out with friends, we ended up playing Charades for hours! Lots of fun from a game I hadnt played in years. The hard setting is very hard indeed, although I managed to describe the play Othello, I wasnt easy I tell you!
I played this with my cousins and relatives for atleast 6 hours last night and we had the most fun ever! It is great for all ages, young and old! You dont need to kno what the movies or songs or plays or books are, you can act out the words or syllables. We mae up a few signs for article, short word, sounds like, name, how many letters, hiw many words, and how many syllables. It was so fun!!! Definitely a five star app! I would rate it more if I could! We laughed so hard and had more fun than ever!!!!!
So not bad. Couple things. First there needs to be a way to keep score. Second, the app started repeating things after about 10 rounds even though there are plenty of listings in there. Seems like that is a bug. We had a ton of fun with it. So 4 stars for me.
We just played with 8 experienced players, great fun. The random selections allow competitiveness, but takes away the tension of one team accusing the other team of selecting Charades that are too difficult or too obscure.

I was excited to find a classic Charades app available, but having played it I am disappointed that the selection often repeats itself. Before purchasing this one, I downloaded a free app (different one) which had the functionality of playing teams. This app does not allow for this. Thats OK, but what was great in the free version was a timer. This app does not have a timer - that would be a useful upgrade. Also, simple rules would helpful for those who are unfamiliar with the game.
Attempting to write a review again. The app appears to work. Purchased the 70s and 80s add ons. Unfortunately cannot use the game since the sound does not work. Restarted the iPad and the app more than once. No joy. This app would be more useable if you were able to start/stop each session without changing the phrase.
